Seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a contract opportunity in the Wichita Falls, Texas. REQUIREMENTS

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in good standing
• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Previous hospital, acute care, critical care, or travel experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator management and oxygen therapy preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments
• Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and airway support equipment
• Perform diagnostic testing, including arterial blood gases and pulmonary assessments
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams as required
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and disease management
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and communicate significant changes in condition
